A student project about Irene Ball, who did the Ladies' Course at Oberlin College from 1836 to 1837 and who was active in the abolitionist movement in Illinois. The collection consists for four of Ball's letter to mother, written between 1836 and 1842, as well as a brief biographical introduction.
