Description
The Mutual Improvement Club was a social and political association formed by prominent Black women in the town of Oberlin, Ohio. This student project explores the Club’s yearbooks from 1913 and 1914 to illuminate the ideas and concerns of African American women in a small town in the early twentieth century.
